Death Stranding ACCESS VIOLATION FIX !!! (C0000005h FIX) // DirectX 12 Error Patch Fix

 Kojima always gives us a hard time when it comes to porting games from the consoles to PC, and it was no different for their new release Death Stranding. 

Issues I had:


1. The game just doesn't start up, It crashes at startup with a Long error message.





2. I tried all kinds of basic fixes out there [Updating the graphics driver, Updating the DirectX, updating the Windows version too] and nothing seemed to work.

My Computer Specs:

Lenovo Y700
i7-6700HQ
GTX 960M / Intel HD 530
16GB RAM


The Fix:



1. Install Visual C++ versions from the links below

>Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019   files from here 


Install both the x64 and x86 Version (IMPORTANT)

>Visual C++ 2013


 again both the x64 and x86 versions (IMPORTANT)

2. Download the zip file from this link: (updated) (22/12/2021)

3. Extract and Copy the 2 files from the folder and paste them into the root folder of the Game:

D:\Games\Death Stranding

4. Now start the game and Enjoy.

    make sure you hsve updated your directx version, and your graphics driver version.

    experienced this error every time when trying start new game or enter settings in game menu
    Partial fix for me:
    Disabling realtek hd audio in device manager, then start game without sound. Later activate again hd audio and continue, - game working without error. But entering settings in game menu, game still crash.
    (i7 2600k, p8p67, 16Gb ram, gtx 1660s)

    Пожалуйста помогите. Раньше фикс работал наиграл 8 часов, но после последнего обновления в декабре игра перестала запускаться.
    Please help me. Previously, the fix worked for 8 hours, but after the last update in December, the game stopped running.
